TheIndonesia.id - The Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) stated that it has prepared a ticket bundling scheme solution, adding alternative accommodation and flights from or to The Mandalika to answer accommodation doubts at the MotoGP event.
"This is our effort to answer the needs of prospective spectators who want to attend the number one motorsport event in the MotoGP world in Mandalika," said Deputy President Director of MGPA Cahyadi Wanda in a written statement in Praya, Thursday, January 27, 2022.
He saw the high interest of racing lovers in the country to watch the 2022 MotoGP event live at Mandalika. Therefore, MGPA cooperates with several parties to provide convenience.
"As PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (Persero), PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry, and PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, are currently developing some bundling schemes that include tickets to watch MotoGP, accommodation, and transportation to Mandalika," he said.
The accommodations provided are five-star hotels, homestays, and housing in tourist villages in Lombok. In addition to preparing ticket bundling, the organizers also received support for additional flights from Jakarta-Lombok, Surabaya-Lombok, and Denpasar-Lombok routes, and vice versa to increase accessibility to Lombok.
"Meanwhile, to anticipate the surge in room needs, we are finalizing the concept of placing camping ground in the West and East zones of Mandalika," he said.
Camping locations in the West Zone will be located at Kuta Beach Park, while in the East zone it will be Batu Kotak, Tanjung Aan. These two locations were chosen as camping areas because they are strategic, have easy access to the circuit, and are safe.
"For your information, MotoGP tickets are sold in various forms and price ranges, so that prospective spectators can choose according to their wishes and needs. The General Admission, Standard Grandstand, and Premium Grandstand categories are sold in the form of daily tickets and weekend pass packages which are valid for Saturday and Sunday. Sunday," he said.
The Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) stated for people who want to watch the race, the organizer has set some requirements and conditions for watching the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP.
"These conditions include the obligation to buy tickets through the official channels specified," said Cahyadi Wanda.
