How to connect AirPods to Android
Open the AirPods case and make sure the AirPods are inside the case, not outside. Then, when you're ready to pair:
- First, press the white button on the back of the AirPods case. The only LED on the case will shine white. You have to keep holding the button until the LED flashes white. After that, you're ready to pair your AirPods with your Android phone.
- Open the Bluetooth menu on your Android phone. Swipe to open the quick settings menu, press and hold the Bluetooth icon, or find a Bluetooth connection via Settings. The sub-menu is called something like Connections/Connected Devices/Device Connectivity, and then Bluetooth.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled, and search for available devices. AirPods will show as an option as long as the AirPods case is still flashing white.
- Tap “pair” and allow your phone and AirPods to connect. It should. AirPods should now be connected to your Android device and will always reconnect automatically when the phone's Bluetooth is on.
