How to Delete Applications on a Macbook

Using Launchpad
- Open Launchpad by clicking the Dock, opening the application folder, or pinching with your thumb and three fingers on the trackpad.
- Type the app name in the search field or swipe down with two fingers
- Press the Option key () or click and hold on the app until it vibrates
- Click remove with the (x) icon next to the app.
- Click delete to confirm.
Using Finder
- Find apps in the Finder by typing the app's name in the bar next to each Finder window or use Spotlight to search for apps by pressing the Command () key while typing the app.
- Drag the app to the trash or select the app, then select File and move it to the trash.
- Enter username and password if required
- Then select Finder
- Select Empty Trash.
