Previously, the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) had given a five-day deadline starting Thursday (21/7/2022) for Private Scope Electronic System Operators (PSE) who had not previously registered until 20 July 2022.

Meanwhile, Kominfo threatened to block several PSEs who did not register themselves according to the specified deadline. Before being blocked, Kominfo will send a letter of warning and administrative fines.

"For those who do not register by the deadline, we send a warning letter to complete it immediately. Five working days," said Director General of Information Applications, Kominfo, Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan, in an online press conference, Thursday, July 21, 2022.

Meanwhile, ANTARA's monitoring this morning showed that the streaming game platform Steam, Dota 2, Counter-Strike Global Offensive, and the digital distribution platform Origin could not be opened as of this morning. However, access on each device can be different, depending on the internet service provider used.

As of this morning, the Dota 2 site can still be opened using the internet from the Oxygen service provider, however, it cannot use XL Axiata cellular data.

Most sites that cannot be opened display an insecure connection notification. The Origin platform says "this site can't be reached". PayPal's cross-border money transfer site is also one that couldn't be opened this morning. The search site Yahoo Search as of this morning cannot be opened, a notification appears that the site cannot be reached using the internet from certain providers.

While Yahoo's email service was not affected, either through mobile or desktop applications. The search site Bing and the online game Battle.net, which were announced yesterday to be blocked, are registered on the PSE Kominfo page as of July 29. The two sites are still open today.
