The repatriation of the bodies of six Indonesians is expected to take place on April 3-8.
According to BMKG, the number of earthquakes shocking Bali this year was dominated by tremors with a strength below magnitude 3.
TheIndonesia.id - A mysterious ship with the 'Sinar Bahari' name on its body was found floating in the sea of Karangasem, Bali, Tuesday, December 7, 2021. No one knows where the boat was originally from.
"The floated fishing boat was found in the waters of Banjar Kusambi, Bunutan village, Abang sub-district, Karangasem district," said the Head of Karangasem Marine Police, I Gusti Agung Bagus Suteja, on Wednesday, December 8, 2021.
He said the ship has 20 meters long and 5 meters wide. It has green and blue combination color with 'Sinar Bahari' written on its body.
"The condition of the ship was damaged and empty. There were no burn/fire marks," he added.
The ship initially wanted to be towed ashore, but it didn't work. Now, the boat is still floating near the beach.
Bagus Suteja didn't know where the boat was from. He has contacted the Directorate of Marine Police of Polda Bali and KSOP Padang Bai to identify the mysterious ship.
"It's unclear where the origin of the ship is. I've coordinated to check and find out the identity of this ship," said Bagus Suteja.
The condition of the ship was severely damaged. He suspected the vessel was moored but carried away by the waves.
Bagus Suteja planned to move the ship to the land because many fishers were disturbed by the wreck.
