7 Clever Ways To Unclog Toilet without Plunger

You can utilize some materials at home in a creative way to unclog down there. You can use this method in the sitting toilet and squatting toilet. 

A clogged toilet is seen by a pool of water that doesn't want to go down. When you flush the toilet, the water just sits there without running down. 

There are some factors that make the toilet clogged, such as the accumulation of objects that clog the toilet bowl, such as tissues, pads, cotton wool, clumps of hair, cigarette butts, flossing threads, toothpicks, or other solid objects.

So what do we do when the toilet is clogged?

1. Use dish soap and hot water

The liquid dish soap acts as a surfactant which helps remove any dirt and clogs. Liquid soap can lubricate toilet drains, while hot water serves to remove blockages.

The way to make a toilet bomb is to mix citron and baking soda in a bowl and add a little water so that it can be compacted into a ball. Leave it overnight.

The next day, you can put the toilet bomb in the clogged toilet and wait a few hours for the clog to clear.

4. Use old plastic bottles

Prepare a medium-sized unused plastic bottle, then cut 5-7 cm from the bottom of the bottle. Then, insert the cut bottle into the toilet hole.

Make sure all parts of the bottle are submerged in toilet water. After that, push or press the toilet opening with the bottle. The goal is to create a vacuum so that the blockage can be pushed into the septic tank drain.

5. Use a wire hanger 

If the previous trick doesn't work, you can switch to using a hanger or clothes hanger made of wire.

In this way, you can remove the clogged dirt manually. The trick, straighten the wire hanger then bend the ends to form the letter U.

Then insert this end into the toilet hole while pushing or rotating it to break the blockage and the toilet water will come down.

6. Wrap with plastic 

The last way to deal with clogged toilets is to use plastic wrap, which is usually used as food wrappers.

However, this method can only be applied to a seated toilet. To do this, cover the bowl of the toilet with plastic wrap. Make sure the plastic sticks to the lip of the bowl and is securely attached.

After that, press flush. When the plastic wrap expands, you press it firmly. Repeated the press. The goal is to reverse suction and push the object into the septic tank.
