TheIndonesia.id - Wi-Fi has become one of the basic needs in the digital era. Unfortunately, sometimes there are problems accessing the Wi-Fi network in some phones, such as iPhone.
For iPhone users, this problem is quite a complaint. Sometimes, phones have difficulty catching Wi-Fi signals, especially after being serviced. There are several ways to solve this problem as quoted from the official Apple Support page.
1. Ensure the Router is On and Within Range
Remember, if you are too far from the WiFi router, you will not be able to get a signal. So, first, make sure you are within range of the router.
2. Make sure WiFi is On and Can See the Network
Make sure WiFi is active, by going to Settings > WiFi > network name to be accessed. Note that if there is a blue tick next to the network name, it means that it is already connected to WiFi.
If the "Auto Join" menu is turned off under the network to be connected, click "More Info". Next press "Auto Join".
3. If Asked Enter the WiFi Password
Enter the password if prompted. Get help if you don't know your password.
If you have entered the password but still cannot join or the password is incorrect, restart the device. After that, re-enter the password.
4. Check for Network Issues
If it detects a problem with the network, there will be a recommendation under the connected WiFi. For example the warning 'No Internet Connection' (no internet connection). For more information, click on a WiFi network.
5. Check Cables and Connections
If you still can't connect to the network, make sure the router is connected to the modem and is on.
6. Restart the Device
If the problem persists, try restarting the iPhone. You can also restart your router and cable or DSL modem by unplugging the device and plugging it back in.
7. Reset Network Settings
The last option you can try is to reset the network on your iPhone. Usually, this method is most effective if the problem lies on the software side.
If using iOS or iPadOS 15 or later, click Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Meanwhile iOS or iPadOS 14 users can do Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
This method can reset the WiFi network, cellular settings, VPN, and APN that was used before. If you still can't connect to WiFi or the connection is very difficult to reach, then bring your iPhone to check with a repair service such as iBox or iColor. It could be that the problem is on the hardware side, namely a damaged WiFi antenna.
