TheIndonesia.co - Four people in Demak, Central Java, carried out a barbaric act on a 2-year-old boy. They brutally gang up RDW, the initial of the toddler, to death, on Monday, December 20, 2021.
The body of the poor toddler was then dumped by the four felons KA (24), MN (32), MS alias D (30), and MRR (24) in the bushes along the highway in Sidoharjo Village, Guntur District, Demak Regency, Central Java, last Thursday. The body was eventually found by residents.
As reported by Solopos.com--the Suara.com network, the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) strongly condemn the actions of the perpetrators who have the heart to kill an innocent toddler. LPSK is ready to provide assistance and protection to the families of toddlers.
"Under its mandate, LPSK can assist families of toddlers who are victims, especially the victim's father and mother who are witnesses as well as victims," said Deputy Chair of LPSK, Edwin Partogi Pasaribu, Saturday, December 25, 2021.

Based on the chronology of the incident, the perpetrator first attacked the victim's father. After the beating, the perpetrators took the victim away in a car. But along the way, the victim cried and screamed. It made one of the perpetrators, MS alias D, kill RDW.
Edwin said that based on Article 5 and Article 6 of Law No. 31/2014 concerning the Protection of Witnesses and Victims, witnesses and victims of criminal acts are entitled to receive assistance, psychological assistance, and psychological rehabilitation.
"Fathers of victims who were also victims of beatings can access medical assistance services so that later they can follow the legal process," explained Edwin.
Edwin appreciated the quick steps taken by the Demak Police to arrest the perpetrators. "LPSK appreciates the quick steps of the Demak Police in responding to this case so that the perpetrators can be immediately arrested," he said.
