"The Raid" Actor Iko Uwais Reported To Police For Beating

TheIndonesia.id - The Jakarta Metropolitan Police said that actor Iko Uwais was reported by a man to the Bekasi City Metro Police for allegations of violent crimes. The actor of Rama in the film "The Raid" was reported with a friend.

Zulpan said a man named Rudi reported Iko Uwais and Firmansyah on Saturday (June, 11) at 20.00 Jakarta time. The husband of singer Audy was reported to have committed violence together against someone in public.

Zulpan explained that the brief chronology began when Iko Uwais used the services of an interior designer belonging to the victim Rudi to build his house in Cibubur, East Jakarta. "With a certain nominal agreement, only half was paid," said Zulpan.

Then, the victim Rudi charged the reported party Iko Uwais by sending an "invoice" via a short message application (WhatsApp), but the performer did not respond. After that, on Saturday, the victim along with his wife were called by the reported party when they passed in front of Iko Uwais' house.

"By clapping and shouting, after that, the victim and his wife got out of the car," said Zulpan.

Furthermore, Iko with his wife Audy and Firmansyah approached the victim and the victim's wife's witness until a dispute broke out. At that time, Iko and Firmansyah were suspected of hitting the victim until he was injured.

Then, the victim reported to the Bekasi City Metro Police. Zulpan said investigators had examined Rudi and several other witnesses. In the next step, the police scheduled to summon Iko Uwais.
