TheIndonesia.id - On Tuesday, Indonesian President Joko Widodo received a state visit from the President of the Democratic Republic of Timor Leste José Manuel Ramos-Horta at the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java. President Ramos-Horta arrived at the Bogor Presidential Palace at around 9.54 Indonesia western time.
The President of Timor Leste's presence at the Bogor Presidential Palace is greeted with a series of official state welcoming ceremonies. His arrival at the Bogor Palace is escorted by marching band troops, cavalry, and troops wearing traditional Indonesian clothes.
President José Ramos-Horta was greeted directly by President Jokowi in the courtyard of the Bogor Presidential Palace. The welcoming procession continued with a state ceremony where the national anthems of the two countries were played and 21 cannons blasted, then the leaders of the two countries introduced their respective delegates who accompanied them.
