TheIndonesia.id - Director of Investigations at the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes Supardi said that the state's losses in the case of alleged corruption in the provision of export facilities for crude palm oil (CPO) and its derivatives reached Rp20 trillion, equivalent to US$1.4 billion. The total value of Rp20 trillion consists of financial losses, economic losses, and illegal gains.

"The total loss of state finances is around Rp6 trillion, then there is also the name (loss) of the economy of around Rp12 trillion, then there are illegal gains that are around Rp.2 trillion. A total of Rp20 trillion," said Supardi after the 62nd Adhyaksa Bhakti Day Ceremony at the Attorney General's Office, Jakarta, Friday, July 22, 2022.

The calculation of state losses was carried out by the auditors of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), investigators from the Attorney General for Special Crimes Office (Jampidsus), and experts from Gadjah Mada University (UGM).

In this case, Jampidsus investigators have asked the former Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi on Wednesday, July 22. Lutfi was a witness for the suspects' Director General of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Trade Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana and Lin Che Wei. Investigators handed over the first phase of case files against five suspects on Wednesday.

The five suspects, in this case, consist of one from the government and four from the private sector. The five suspects, namely Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana as the Director General of Foreign Trade (Dirjen Daglu) of the Ministry of Trade. Four other people from the private sector, namely Master Parulian Tumanggor as Commissioner of PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia, Senior Manager of Corporate Affairs of PT Pelita Agung Agrindustri/ Permata Hijau Group Stanley MA.

Next were Picare Tagore Sitanggang as General Manager at the General Affairs Section of PT Musim Mas and founder policy/analytic advisor to PT Independent Research & Advisory Indonesia Lin Che Wei.

Supardi stated as soon as possible to commission the case to the trial or stage II phase. "As for this week. If we are in a hurry, next week," said Supardi.
