TheIndonesia.id - The Indonesian National Police's Professional and Security Division is currently processing the dishonorable discharge (PTDH) of Inspector General of Police Ferdy Sambo as a member of the National Police. Sambo has been named a suspect in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J.
"The Head of the Professional and Security Division of the National Police has reported that (PTDH) is still in the filing process," said Inspector General of Police General Supervision Commissioner General of Police Agung Budi Maryoto at the National Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Friday, August 19, 2022.
This dishonorable discharge of the Indonesian National Police member is regulated in Police Regulation (Perpol) Number 7 of 2022 concerning the Professional Code of Ethics and the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia's Ethics Commission which was stipulated on June 14, 2022, and promulgated on June 15, 2022. Based on Article 111 it reads "About suspected violators of the Police Professional Code of Ethics (KEPP) who are threatened with PTDH sanctions are given the opportunity to submit their resignation from the Polri service on the basis of certain considerations prior to the implementation of the KKEP Session".
"God willing, there will also be a code of ethics trial in the near future, but not this week, but at least next week," said Maryoto.
Ferdy Sambo was named a suspect in the alleged premeditated murder of Brigadier J along with three other suspects, Bharada Richard Eliezer, Bripka Ricky Rizal, and Strong Ma'aruf.
In addition to the four suspects, the new investigator has named Ferdy Sambo's wife, Putri Candrawati, as a new suspect, who are both charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary to Article 338 in conjunction with Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code. These articles contain premeditated murder rules.
In this case, Ferdy ordered Bharada E to shoot Brigadier J, he also admitted to being the mastermind of the premeditated murder.
