Police to Reconstruct Murder of Brigadier J Tomorrow

TheIndonesia.id - The National Police’s criminal investigation agency is planning to reconstruct the murder of Brigadier J in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, on Tuesday.

National Police’s spokesperson Insp. Gen. Dedi Prasetyo confirmed on Monday, August 29, that the reconstruction will be held on Tuesday at 10.00 a.m.

“Information from investigators [it will be] at 10.00 a.m.,” Prasetyo said, as reported by Antara.

Investigators, public prosecutors, and the five suspects will reportedly be present at the reconstruction – as well as the National Commission on Human Rights (Komnas HAM) and National Police Commission (Kompolnas).

The Attorney General’s Office’s spokesperson Ketut Sumedana confirmed that head of the public prosecutor’s team appointed to handle the case will also attend the reconstruction.

The five suspects who are expected at tomorrow’s planned agenda are Ferdy Sambo, Bharada Richard Eliezer, Bripka Ricky Rizal, Kuwat Ma'ruf, dan Putri Candrawathi.

Arman Haniz, the lawyer of Sambo and Candrawathi, also confirmed that he will be present.

Meanwhile, Bharada Richard Eliezer’s lawyer Ronny Talapesy said he’s still coordinating with the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) regarding his client’s presence at the reconstruction, considering Eliezer is now a justice collaborator.

“Principally, [Eliezer] is ready [to be present], but we will be coordinating with investigators and LPSK,” Talapesy said.
