TheIndonesia.id - The Center for Volcanology, Mitigation, Disaster and Geology (PVBMG) reports that there has been an eruption and underwater volcanic eruption in the southern waters around the Ile Werung Volcano complex, Lembata Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.

The observer receives reports of the blow from the seabed which made residents around the location of the blow and the eruption of the mountain worried.
According to reports from residents, the sea level had risen on Sunday (November 28) night 2021 and on Monday with a sea level of less than one meter and an inundation distance of about 30 meters.
"We (Ile Werung Volcano Monitoring Station, ed) recorded this eruption starting on Sunday (November 28) which started at 21.35 eastern Indonesian time and lasted for one hour," he said.
Eruption and gusts were recorded again starting at 05:17 local time, Monday, November 29, 2021. Until this report was made, the eruption activity is still ongoing but has not shown a significant increase.
PVBMG also reported that the results of field monitoring of the Ile Werung Volcano Observer on Monday had observed eruptive smoke as high as approximately 100 meters above sea level accompanied by blows.
Visually, this blow activity did not occur at the location of the Hobal underwater volcano. The location is about one kilometer south of the Hobal Underwater Volcano and is most likely still associated with the activities of the Ile Werung Volcano complex.
Wilson also when contacted asked that the community around Mount Ile Werung be aware of the impact of the eruption and the blows of the underwater volcano.
