TheIndonesia.co - Bobobox, an Indonesian capsule hotel, launches its branch in the shopping center International Trade Center (ITC) Kuningan, South Jakarta. The collaboration project of Bobotox and ITC Kuningan will provide an affordable hotel in the middle of the city.
The head division of ITC Group, Christine Natasha Tanjungan, stated that collaboration is part of ITC's strategy as digitalization has changed people's lifestyles. She hoped that Bobobox would facilitate tourists after a busy day. Besides, the existence of the capsule hotel is expected to have a positive impact on the small enterprises at ITC Kuningan and the surroundings.
"Our expertise in delivering technology-based capsule hotels that are integrated with Internet-of-Things applications and systems can provide a personal experience for every user. We hope that Bobobox will optimize a memorable experience for visitors," said Bobobox CEO Indra Gunawan in an official statement, Sunday, December 11, 2021.
Bobobox offered the concept of smart shared living in a clean and compact place. Each capsule room will be equipped with the internet of things (IoT) technology for easy check-in, check-out, and other requests.

Bobobox ITC Kuningan consists of 36 pods. They are 23 double pods and 13 single pods. The price starts from IDR 130,000 (USD 9).
At the same time, the collaboration between Bobobox and Sinar Mas Land also supports the government programs related to digital economic recovery. "As an investment option, we offer collaboration schemes that increase not only the investment value but also a contribution to Indonesian economic recovery," added Indra.
Bobobox has been available in 15 big Indonesian cities, such as Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, and Yogyakarta. In the same month, Bobobox will launch the newest branch in Malang. Bobobox Malang will be the 16th branch after Bobobox ITC Kuningan.
