TheIndonesia.co - Selis electric vehicle manufacturer, PT Juara Bike, launched the first three-wheeled electric car in Indonesia, Selis Bromo. This car accommodates people's needs for efficient, energy efficient, and environmentally friendly transportation.
"Consumers can get the experience of driving an electric car with a simpler version. Users can also save electricity consumption at home because the Selis Bromo battery can be charged with the help of sunlight," said Project Sales Manager Juara Bike, Reagan Pantja, in a statement quoted by Antara in Jakarta, Friday, August 12, 2022.
Selis Bromo, which was launched at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2022, is the company's effort to develop the electric vehicle market in Indonesia and support the government in encouraging the transition to renewable energy, as well as expanding new markets globally. "With Selis Bromo, we provide solutions for people who want to use electric vehicles according to their needs and purchasing power," said Pantja.
Selis Bromo can support a trip up to 100 kilometers and is strong enough to carry loads of up to 300 kilograms with a maximum speed of 40 km per hour, using a disc motor with 1,000 W differential gear, 60 V 100 Ah Lithium battery, and a maximum charging of six hours and using tubeless tires.

"Innovations in the form of air conditioners and solar panels on three-wheeled electric vehicles are also one of Juara Bike's weapons in targeting new markets and can even create new markets," said Pantja.
Selis Bromo, he continued, is very suitable for motorcycle riders who want to switch to cars, with a budget that is more affordable for the wider community, namely at Rp60 million or USD 4,000.
Juara Bike is a subsidiary of Gaya Abadi Sempurna, a company whose shares are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with the stock code SLIS. Referring to the SLIS 2021 financial report, sales of electric bicycles (e-bikes) Selis reached 20,605 units, electric motorcycles (e-motors) 3,886 units, and children's bicycles (kids bicycles) 55,814 units.
Based on a survey conducted by a third party, the Selis brand now occupies a leading position in the electric vehicle category, so the company believes the number of customers will continue to increase and have an impact on sales and profit growth. As of the first quarter of 2022, SLIS achieved sales up 3.35 percent to Rp 108.3 billion from the first quarter of 2021 worth Rp 104.79 billion and a net profit of Rp 6.83 billion, up 6.4 percent from the previous Rp 6.42 billion.
