Grebeg Sudiro, Chinese-Javanese Lunar New Year Celebration

TheIndonesia.id - Grebeg Sudiro is a Chinese New Year Celebration carnival in Solo, Central Java. 

The carnival showcase acculturation between China and Java. It is usually held around the Pasar Gede area. 

Quoting the Ministry of Tourism data, the word grebeg, derived from the Javanese language, means celebration or carnival.
